TRUCKERS TESTIMONIES

The success stories are what really count. One of the truckers, ‘J.B.', using the ‘DFX' unit was involved with the testing of the product. He has had the device on two different trucks. He ran the ‘DFX' unit for a couple of years on a 2003 Western Star with a CAT engine and more recently installed it on a 2006 Western Star which has a Detroit EGR engine. He saved about 1 to 1 ¼ miles per gallon on his CAT engine and is close to that on his Detroit engine. Overall he has seen his mileage improve anywhere from 15% to 20%.

Another trucker, ‘JR', has had the ‘DFX' unit on his truck for 2 years and he hauls very heavy loads. He drives a 1999 International Eagle with a 500 HP Detroit engine and was pulling three and four axle trailers when he first installed the ‘DFX' unit. He was averaging 4.9 to 5.1 mpg at 65 to 70 mph. After the install of the ‘DFX' unit, he immediately noticed an increase of 1.2 mpg. About two weeks later the truck was up to 7 MPG even. On top of this, the truck was running highway speeds and had no hesitation when climbing hills. The truck seemed to settle at 8.9 mpg, pulling heavy weight, he said. When he then switched to pulling flat bed trailers it went up again to 10.2 mpg up from the normal 4.9 he used to get. He is now pulling container trailers with very heavy loads and lots of wind resistance. His mileage per gallon improvement now is anywhere from 18% to 22%.

A certified vehicle mechanic and a transport driver, ‘Anthony Thomas', also acknowledges the benefits of the Diesel Fuel Xciter. He was skeptical about the technology; however given the rising cost of fuel he reasoned that any minor improvement in fuel mileage is a good thing. He figured he had nothing to lose and all to gain. He installed the ‘DFX' unit on his 1997 Freightliner FLD 120 which has a 430 HP Detroit engine. After the ‘DFX' unit was installed, he noticed the engine was quieter. In the past when his truck was ascending a particular grade which he traveled usually with a 43,000 lb. load, it did so in 5th gear high, perhaps 6th low. After the ‘DFX' unit had been installed he found the same truck climbed the same grade more quickly and smoothly and was in 7th high gear. “I felt I was driving a different truck,” he said. “Though it took some time from when the ‘DFX' unit was initially installed, within the last month we have experienced a significant improvement in fuel mileage. . achieving as much as 7.9 mpg with a 46,000 lb. payload . . . where I would normally get an approximately 6.5 mpg with a similar payload.” The unit has contributed to improved fuel mileage of up to 20% and he too agrees his engine has more power.

nother trucker, ‘G.W.', who recently had the system installed on his Detroit powered Peterbilt told us that the performance he is now getting is hard to believe. His power has increased substantially and his mileage has gone from 6 mpg to 7.5 mpg. He has also reported a drop in exhaust gas temperature of 200 degrees.
